Revamped the site.

I added a bunch of links to local bands, past and present as well as some other blog sites. I'm thinking of adding some information on a few bands from the 80's that I can not find information on the WEB, like Fab Motion, The Dishes, and The Haskells. So if you have information on Houston bands let me know. I think I'm going to feature Houston, Dallas and other Texas bands like from Austin (like Austin bands need more exposure).

Awesome idea. And I had no clue the Jinkies and the Squares had MySpace pages (although I don't think the folks from those bands run 'em, going by the Comments over there). Thanks!

I know Mike was in both the Jinkies and the Squares and they had a semi reunion at Ruds about 2 years ago. I tried to get a CD from Mike but I don't think he had any and you should see The Blank Stairs page on myspace the music is good. They are on my Myspace top whatever.

Um, first off, from the list of bands in this post, I love you and I want to have your baby. That's kind of the trifecta right there.

I ADORED the Haskells (and 3 Pc. All White), and this is one of only two places online I've seen jack about them.

When I'm able, I've got a video of the 3 Pc. Valentines Day show at the Ale House that I need to try and rescue from VHS - it's in EXTREMELY sorry shape, but I love it.

http://www.thejudys.com/ has some stuff about the Dishes on there - mostly, it's JUST Hot Diggety Dog! and a little bit of band lore, but it's still awesome stuff.

But, yes. Overall, I would commit many crimes to get more stuff on certain '80s Houston bands.
